This place is ideal because of the great location and the city views. The queen room was good sized, had a private safe, a work desk and TV...
The breakfast we ordered was cold.
The lift was out of service for the whole stay (4 days), so we had to go up for 4 floors several times a day. The big shower head only delivered lukewarm water, forcing us to wash with the small jet to hold in our hands because there is no support. We asked to replace a light bulb, but no one intervened. If it wasn't for the location right in the center of Dublin, from where you can reach Temple bar, Grafton Street and many other near places in a few minutes. I wouldn't recommend it also because of quality/price ratio which is absolutely disproportionate. The building should be modernized, especially rooms, in order to make your stay more comfortable.
Centrally located.. Friendly, pleasant staff.
I got eaten alive by bed bugs (room 205)!!! The noise of the nightclub and revilers echoed up to the rooms until 3:30am. Couldn’t open windows because of noise and the smell of smoke from nearby BBQ restaurant.
Room was clean, Hotel was well located. Facilities were okay.
The rooms at the back need double glazing the nose from the bars kept one awake until 3 in the morning. The room should tea and coffee making facilities. No bath robes
The outstanding service provided by all the staff
Road noise in the room was very loud
The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel itself is centrally located and within walking distance of most major attractions.
For a hotel in the 4-5 star bracket, the lack of accessories was disappointing. Our room had no coffee/tea making facilties, premium TV/movie channels or nice touches such as bath robes. The charge for a full breakfast was ludicrously expensive at 27.50 euros per person. We didn't eat in the hotel once during our four-day stay.
The room was comfortable and well appointed, the staff were very helpful and were always friendly and the location was brilliant - right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food and service were very good.
It was disappointing that there were no tea making facilities as this is usually standard in most hotels. I was also surprised that soap was not replaced as part of servicing the room. These were minor irritations and we would happily stay here again.
Everything was 1st class, the hotel was very clean & in a great location. The staff where very friendly & helpfull.
Excellent staff and comfortable rooms. The hotel is awaiting a major renovation in the next few years, but in the meantime is well run and much more personal than the chains.
The proximity to shopping and restaurants. The welcome on arrival and level of service was superb. The service in the Octagon bar was also excellent.
The noise levels at night were the only downside.
Location, friendlines of staff.
No tea/coffee in hotel rooms
the staff were excellent especially when they found out my luggage had been lost by the airline .They went out of their way to help me by phoning the airline a number of times for updates and generally being very understandingregardsjimmy

Interior more solid than interesting.
It is has its hey day, a bit dated, but great location the staff are excellent and its nice enough.
